This past month, I worked on a guide with one of my mentees where we showed developers how to use puppeteerJS - a browser automation framework -- to successfully buy a product off the Stanley Cup website. Otherwise known as a Stanley Cup checkout bot. This was a fun project to put on our resumes (in this a** saturated job market), but what many do not know is we sold the EXACT code shown in the guide for $400 a copy. We developed it once and then sold it many times over. Because of the monetary value the guide held, we decided to share it to the public for $20 a copy. My student, Sam, who began the bot developer mentorship nearly 4 weeks ago cooked on his first drop today with the bot he created for a client. The bot revolves in the kitchen-wear space and cooked on a super hyped up drop today. The client agreed to pay $1500 for the entire bot if it worked. And it did. Here's to many more 🍺 !
