Support Vector Machine
I'm excited to share that I've just published an in-depth article on Support Vector Machines (SVMs)—a powerful tool in the machine learning arsenal! In this article, I explore the core concepts, from the mathematical foundations to practical implementation strategies. Whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your understanding, this piece offers valuable insights and hands-on tips for mastering SVMs. Don't miss it—check out the article here! Data Engineering from Scratch
Hi Guys, I’m Vamsi Madhav H from India. I’ve decided to transition from mobile development to the Data Engineering domain. My goal is to work through a roadmap, build meaningful projects, and gain a solid understanding of entry level data engineering by the end of 2024. I know upskilling while working can be challenging, so I’m looking for like-minded individuals who are also interested in this journey. We’ll start with the basics, like Python, and work on small projects to strengthen our understanding as we progress. I’m also planning to have weekly sessions to discuss doubts and support each other. If anyone else is interested, feel free to join! Here’s the roadmap I’ll be following: Data Engineering Roadmap Discord ID: vamsimadhavh Discord invite link: https://discord.gg/p5c8caZ7 I’ll be starting on September 9, 2024, and I’ll be sharing updates on my progress each month to stay accountable. Wish me luck! Edited by Chat GPT

ML fitness tracker.
I've recently completed Machine Learning fitness tracker in Data Science section. @Dave Ebbelaar had done an extraordinary work by doing this practice and for my part I feel like I owe him. Any one who is focusing on Machine Learning and Data Analysis must do this. This practice gives a lot of information to load data, clean data, analyze and find anomalies with using different functions, plotting these data and rebuilding it. Edit: forgot to share link. https://www.skool.com/data-alchemy/classroom/ef18605f?md=c3ac79613a914d64ada917374251ffe5

Why I Switched to Cursor IDE – Is It Worth the Hype?
If you’re a developer, you’ve probably seen Cursor IDE making waves recently. It’s been everywhere, and after five years with VS Code, I made the switch — for now. Cursor is a fork of VS Code but adds powerful AI features like autocomplete, inline edits, and a composer. If you’re familiar with VS Code, the transition is seamless. So you can still use all your settings, themes, extensions, and most importantly, the interactive window! In this week’s video, I dive into these AI features, show how they can improve your coding workflow, and help you decide if Cursor is right for you. Talk soon, Dave P.S. We’ve temporarily closed enrollment for Data Freelancer as we’ve hit our capacity. But don’t worry — some exciting updates are coming soon. We're working on some big things behind the scenes for both Datalumina as a company and the Data Freelancer program. Stay tuned for more details!
