The first gaussian blur layering could have been smoother, other than that, sick edit 🔥🔥
Has anyone made a successful switch From Pr to Davinci?
Was it easy to make the switch, if so, any suggestions? Now I don’t plan on doing the full switch but I would like to learn Davinci for a few reasons. One is to help teach a friend how to edit since he just started with Davinci because it’s free. Also I would like the flexibility in case a particular client prefers it. Any input or helped is appreciated.

This exact editing skool has tutorials on getting better at premiere, you don't have to watch all tutorials to get better at the software. Just know 75-80% of the basics and just open the software and try to do things and see what is what. Major learning is from practical doing and not theoretical thinking Hope it helps :)
Here’s the Struggle No One Talks About!"
As a beginner in video editing, I’m excited about the creative possibilities, but I often find myself facing some challenges that slow me down. Idea Generation: Coming up with fresh, engaging ideas is a constant struggle. Sometimes I feel like I’m stuck in a loop of cliché concepts or unsure how to execute unique ones effectively. Creative Flow: Once I start working on a project, it’s hard to maintain a consistent flow. I either get overwhelmed with too many creative options or stuck on minor details, which kills the momentum. Learning the Tools: Video editing software has so many features, and as much as I try to learn them, I feel like I’m barely scratching the surface. Understanding which tools to use and when to use them is another challenge. Time Management: Editing a video always seems to take longer than I expect. Balancing learning, editing, and finishing projects on time is tricky. Feedback Overload: When I share my work, I get a mix of critiques. While feedback is essential, it sometimes feels overwhelming or contradictory, leaving me unsure of how to improve. I know this is part of the journey, and I’m learning to embrace the process. If any experienced editors here have advice, tips, or even resources that helped them in their early days, I’d love to hear about it!

I know we all go thru the same and thats what separates the best from the rest, the best take time to progress thru each milestone of a challenge and some people just give up half way. The hard work people are telling you to put in is exactly trying to get better at these exact things. Just don't give up and try to find what works for you, cause here is no 1 cheat sheet that can get rid of all these, it only come thru experience, sometimes harsh ones.. Just don't give up :)
Hey! 👋
My name is Esmund, I’m from Uk, and I've been editing for pretty much 2 years using Filmora & Camtesia, started learning Premiere pro about a year now. I’m currently making about $0 per month from video editing and I want to be making $2k. I want to improve my editing career in these areas: 1. Editing creativity 2. Personal branding 3. Networking For fun, I like to: 1. Watch movies 2. Travel & see new places 3. Play drums
