What would you like to see built during project weeks?
As I mentioned in the first Q&A, I have tentative projects in mind, but I'd love to hear from you guys. What would be most interesting or helpful to watch someone build? Keep in mind that each project only incorporates what has already been covered in the course material up to that point (so the first project will not be utilizing commands or AI, for instance).

I would like to see your version of a task manager. The functionality of Things or Omnifocus done well in Tana would appeal to massive people who have to keep up with an endless amount of things such as calls, emails to be sent out, service related tasks, etc. A very big in doing this in Tana is the ability to see all notes about the subject for review as you are about to do the needed task.

@Nick Silhacek The task manager would include calls, meeting reminders, email reminders, errands, really anything that needs to be done by about anyone. The functionality should include a method to delay or postpone, as well as archive once completed. If you are familiar with OmniFocus, getting this done in Tana has massive advantages, not the least of which is having all notes about a subject instantly available without leaving Tana. I have been using Tana since January, 2023, and have yet to see anyone create a template in Tana to do this as well as OmniFocus, which I have used since the app first came out years ago. To be clear, I am sure Tana can do this, I am just not capable at this point to make it happen.
Week 2 Thread
It's a close call, but fields may have changed even more in the last six months than supertags. Things start getting intense next week with Live Queries (in a good way)! What did you think of this week's content? Let us know if the following were helpful: - Organization tips like naming conventions and workspace structure - Abstract concepts like the Flex Field Promotion Ladder - Practical explanations of hard-to-grok feature like "to ancestor with..." - Deep dives into the technical aspects of the feature in focus - Something else catch your eye? What about the challenge offered toward the end? Anyone going pick up the gauntlet? Don't forget the next live Q&A session is this coming Monday (June 10)!

I think some will instantly "get it" as they go through the modules, and others, like me, will learn more by doing, by actually building stuff. Nick is clearly very, very smart with this, and he is doing a superb job of explaining the topics. I think the good folks at Tana have always said it was not necessary to learn all that Tana will do, as long as you learn how to make it do what you need. For me, I want to build my own task manager, and be able to improve it as time goes by.
Week 1 Thread
Each week, there will be a dedicated thread for discussing anything related to that week's content. This is that thread for Week 1. - What was most helpful in the lessons? - Was anything confusing--need some help understanding a concept? - Have you used what you learned to build anything interesting (go ahead and share it)? We had our first Group Q&A Monday 3rd of June. Thanks to everyone who joined us today. Here's the call recording for those of you who might want to revisit things, as well as for members who couldn't make it to this first call: Week 1 - Q&A Group Call
