Created "Solid Fuel Studios LLC" in 2008. The name was a friend's idea, and I kinda hoped going with it would entice them to join me (nope). (I was wavering between "corduroy cowboy" and "smoking robot" for a long time because i thought they sounded fun) I like the idea of inspiring others to do things, and this felt like "giving the fuel for their ideas." but solid strong fuel they could actually use). but also made me think of solid fuel needed for big operations like rocket launches. The initial idea was for SFS be 100% transparent about every aspect of the business, so others could learn from it. but also wanted to get my creative friends to join me. (but as it got real, and I brought out legal papwork, they all wanted to be setup as co-owners and so nothing went anywhere. we all still have dayjobs).
