Hi Jan, thank you for joining us! Really excited about the prospect of sharing information in a way that can be a win-win for the community. Please be little patient with us and I will put more information soon. I guess we will have a mix of meetings (video conference) - to discuss general things and food of-course for the casually interested . I am also in the process of designing a few courses that can really cater to the home cooks and people who potentially are in the challenge of running an Indian restaurant or even trying to build one. Ofcourse there will be lots of information for people who love to travel to India or just learn more about the madness in general :) I also think the support of the community would be very important. So please be honest with your feedback and I am sure there will be lots of value here for us all to take home 🙏 Ideally next week, I intend to have our first community call, so we can just get talking and get this started :) 🙏
Great initiative!

Thank you Peter! Please feel free to ask anything or give feedback on anything you might have in mind. I will be taking feedback from all our customers and members in designing this community to be the best value for its member in the coming days. 🙏
Welcome to the "Horn Ok Please" Community!
Hi there, and welcome to our growing family! Whether you’re a food lover, passionate about Indian cuisine, or a restaurateur eager to improve your operations, you’re in the right place. At "Horn Ok Please," we believe that food isn't just about what’s on the plate—it’s about the experience, the stories, and the connections that come with it. Since the beginning, my goal has been to build Horn Ok Please as the most authentic Indian experience in Ghent, staying true to our roots. Our journey has always been about exploring the Indian culinary road trip together, and this community is an extension of that belief. Who is this community for? - Customers who love our Indian food and want to deepen their connection with us by exploring more about the cuisine, cooking tips, and fun experiences. - Restaurateurs—whether you’re just starting out or experienced—who want to improve their Indian restaurant operations and learn from real-life experiences. - Food enthusiasts who are passionate about Indian culture and cuisine. What can you expect here? - For our customers: Get inside scoops on new dishes, recipes, and cooking tips to bring the Indian dining experience to your own kitchen. Have a question or an issue? Share it here, and we’ll help! - For restaurateurs: Gain practical advice on managing an Indian restaurant, from crafting the perfect menu to creating efficient systems. I’ll share the best practices that have helped me successfully run Horn Ok Please. What will you get from joining us? - Good stuff: Learn how to make your Indian food journey more enjoyable, stress-free, and rich with flavor! And for restaurant owners, discover how to streamline operations, boost your revenue, and enhance customer experiences. - Avoid the bad stuff: I’ll help you sidestep common pitfalls like inefficiency, high costs, and customer dissatisfaction that so many restaurants face. What makes this community special? You’ll benefit from my personal experience running Horn Ok Please, a successful 38-seater Indian restaurant in Ghent, Belgium. I’ve been in your shoes, and now I want to help others find the same success—all while staying true to our shared love of authentic Indian food and culture.
