@Ionut Diaconu @Sarah Hankins They will come to you as the community grows. Would highly recommend posting a link to your community on smaller forums related to the niche. 10-15 new members a week come to us from a tiny industry forum, but they are the 10-20 year industry professionals that add a tremendous amount to the group. Engage them early, be upfront and honest that your just trying to hold space for people in your industry to learn together and connect. Start calls ASAP (maybe 5 days a week a first, play with the times to accommodate the members that are there), and just talk shop with them at first and start to develop relationships. Play with the polls feature to start doing daily practice questions to keep engagement up. Those industry specific members who found you through some lessor known channel they already trusted will be the people that becomes like ambassadors for the group and help new members get their feet under them.
📈 Average about page conversion rates
Earlier this week we shipped about page traffic and conversion metrics (see screenshot). Many people were asking what the average was... Here's the conversion rate averages platform wide: - Paid groups: 4% - Free groups: 18% The average for free groups is consistent, however, the average for paid groups varies significantly depending on the price, quality of traffic, and the about page content. In general, the lower the price, the higher the conversion rate. Take a screenshot of your stats and share it below so we can compare. We can all get better, together.

I was surprised by the traffic to our free group. This has been really helpful in understanding how many members we’re missing out on. will be making some some changes. @Sam Ovens any chance on getting historical data or it moving forward?

@Sam Ovensis there anyway to know if these metrics are pruned for bots and crawlers?
Emails from free group without asking?
Are free communities collecting emails now without asking for them as a membership question? I'm noticing two entries on the member export.

@Sarah Hankins I put it on half auto pilot by installing really engaged and smart people in positions I couldn't deal with, like education delivery and community management. At this point all I'm doing is having a weekly "team meeting" with the 3 contributor's and I'm focused on partnerships. Turned out our industry counts this as continuing professional education, so people are willing to contribute really professional work because they can apply for annual credits they need for their certifications.

@Trent Grzegorczyk we had trouble with a MRR model but run $400 boot camps and have an affiliate deal with an established training provider. Wont get me on the games leaderboard but it is generating revenue
“Making Money On Skool Is So Easy Now” — Bijan
A lot of people struggle to make their first dollar online. They fall into the trap of waiting for “the right time” or ”the perfect offer.” But @Bijan Izadi recently discovered these things don’t even matter. He now knows the secret that was holding him back from getting that first sale. And now he’s sharing it with you. 👇
