In trouble with AMEX?
Have you ever got a call from AMEX and felt like you were in trouble with them? A few days ago they called me about an income check or something along those lines. I was approved for a platinum card with them on my first try, I don't recall the income I told them as it was a rough and conservative estimate of upcoming business profit. Basically they asked me to send them 2 months of bank statements from the account I would be making payments from, within the next 15 days. (Failing to do so would result in my account being shut down) Now my problem is: - I'm moving overseas in 2 weeks, and for tax purposes I haven't been paying myself from the business bank account into my personal for the last couple of months - its a personal card with AMEX, so Im unsure if i can provide statements from the business bank account, and also its a joint account with me and my partner 🙃 - Even though I'm making enough money to be eligible to have the card and make repayments, due to the phase of life I'm in, its MESSY to show this to them😂 Any advice?

Did you ever figure this out? This is called a financial review if you wanna watch videos on YouTube about it they ussaly do this when you spend a lot out of the ordinary one month or send a bunch of money threw other apps like cash app , Venmo trying to liquidate the card the wrong way or if you make a payment and it’s bounced return by the bank, spending close to stated income and lastly checking spending power to much can all trigger a financial review
Opening Business Credit Card
Hello, everyone I need help on this idea I have. So I've been doing good with my credit cards using what I know what I can pay to 0 and don't use my card until after the statement date but now that I want to start a business I'm looking into opening either a chase ink cash unlimited card or Amex blue cash card which one should I open and I will be liquidating or using it and only pay the minimum payment since they are 0% percent cards for first 12 months .now how will this effect my score since my ultilization is going to be high and do I need ein number to open this business cards or need to open an llc?

Business cards don’t effect your Personal credit utilization I would recommend have a Properly set up LLC and EIN Make sure you set your llc up so it’s pretty on paper Business credit you gotta pay to play to have higher limits

@Rogelio Mendez Is the business your in cash only? If it is depends what business card you use cashapp Venmo work or you can create a strip account and invoice yourself the full amount and eat the 3% fee I think what it’s at rn or if yk a buddy with a business have them invoice you and have them just send it back to you these are the easiest

Referrals
Do I have a relationship with Chase?
Iv'e had a Chase account under my Dad's account that I had full access since 2020 as well as my dad I'll be 18 years old soon. Do I have to go straight to the starter card with Chase or can I get a better card.

i would recommend starting with a secured card regardless but if the account has your name on it it should count as you have a relationship with chase and should be able to get approved for a chase beginner card.
