I didn’t know it then, but that was the best trade of my life. That’s when I realized trading and investing was my passion. I didn’t need a degree to make it happen, so I stopped going to class and ultimately flunked out with a 1.6 GPA. But honestly, it was the best decision I ever made. After that, I dove into futures trading, focusing mostly on crude oil. That’s when I started making real money. As my skills improved, I added options trading to the mix, which only expanded my arsenal. Fast forward to today: I’ve built a business, I make my own schedule, and I travel when I want. But it wasn’t until recently that I started trading with algorithms. Switching to algo trading was a game-changer. It freed up so much time that I used to spend staring at charts.
