FT ⚽️ Elite F.C 6 - 10 Old Shields ⚽️ [POTM: Ali Akbar] Over 35s Match
πŸ“… Wed 16th Oct, πŸ•˜ 9.15 πŸ₯… Goals πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈBuild up & post match reaction in here! ⚽️ Pitch: 5 🀠 Ref:Mani πŸŽ₯ Cameraman: Osama πŸ’₯ Pre-Match Headlines: Elite F.C, currently 4th in the Over 35s league with 21 points, are on a roll after a stunning 12-5 victory over last year’s champions, Rosehill United. Led by last year’s Player of the Season, Bhatti, Elite F.C has found great form with new signing Maz, brother of playmaker Zu, already earning two Man of the Match awards since joining. Star striker Azeem has missed a few games, but if he returns, his presence could be crucial. The experience of Palle in midfield and Umair and Yasir Bhatti in defence, along with the reliability of Fawaad in goal, gives Elite F.C a solid foundation heading into this vital clash. Old Shields, sitting just ahead of Elite F.C in 3rd with 22 points, are managed by Ali Sheeha, a contender for Player of the Season. They come off a big 16-9 win against Stoaters and will be hoping to repeat that performance. Goalkeeper Usy Baig has been a standout, and the team will be hoping that Suj is fit to play, alongside key player Ahmed, who has been full of energy and collected several Man of the Match awards this season. With just one point separating the two sides and both vying for a top-three finish, this is a must-win for both teams. πŸ’₯ Elite F.C: On a Hot Streak Elite F.C are in their best form of the season, and last week’s commanding win over Rosehill United has boosted their confidence. The addition of Maz has added flair and creativity, and if Azeem returns, their attacking options will be even stronger. The leadership of Palle in midfield, along with Umair’s defensive strength and Fawaad’s experience in goal, will be vital as they look to leapfrog Old Shields in the table. πŸ’₯ Old Shields: Keeping the Momentum Old Shields, managed by Ali Sheeha, will be hoping to build on their impressive win last week. Ahmed has been the engine of the team, collecting multiple Man of the Match awards, and Suj’s return could provide the energy and creativity needed to break down Elite F.C’s defense. Goalkeeper Usy Baig has been solid between the posts, and the experience of Ali Sheeha himself will be key in maintaining their position in the top three.

βœ…FT: Stoaters 9 - 16 Old Shields ⚽️[ POTM: ] Over 35s Match
πŸ“… Wed 9th Oct, πŸ•˜ 9.15pm πŸ₯… Goals πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈBuild up & post match reaction in here! ⚽️ Pitch: 2 🀠 Ref: Mani πŸŽ₯ Cameraman: Pre-Match Headlines: This Over 35s clash sees Stoaters and Old Shieldz reigniting their early-season rivalry. Stoaters, managed by Frankie, will aim to replicate their 10-9 victory from the first game of the season. After a tough run in the Over 35s league, Stoaters have key players returning, including Daniel, Bona and Nad, who impressed with a Man of the Match performance in their win against Still Game. The big question remainsβ€”will Mick be back to bolster their lineup? Old Shieldz, led by Usy Baig and Ali Sheesha, have been solid throughout the season, with their only losses coming against Stoaters and last week’s narrow 7-5 defeat to Le Dream Team in a heated match. They are determined to turn the tables this time and show their fighting spirit. Can they find the resilience to secure a vital win and avenge their earlier defeat? πŸ’₯ Useful Links - Rules - Pay League Fee - Match Reports - All Results - League Tables - Match Recordings - This Weeks Fixtures - New! βœ…FT: Westend Legends 3 - 15 Elite F.C ⚽️[POTM: Maz] πŸ† Conference League Cup πŸ†
πŸ“… Wed 2nd Oct, πŸ•˜ 9.15pm πŸ₯… Goals πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈBuild up & post match reaction in here! ⚽️ Pitch: 5 🀠 Ref: Sajjad πŸŽ₯ Cameraman: Ayuib πŸ’₯Pre-Match Headlines: The Conference League Cup clash between Westend Legends and Elite F.C promises to be a thrilling encounter with both sides determined to secure their spot in the next round.Westend Legends, managed by Shane have been formidable this season, with key striker Shaun expected to lead the line. On the other hand, Elite F.C, under the experienced leadership of Tahir Bhattiβ€”last season’s Over 35s Player of the Yearβ€”will look to hotshot striker Azeem to make the difference in front of goal. The competition is heating up, with Galacticos, Rosehill United, and Real Warriors already securing their spots in the semi-finals. This fixture will determine the final team to join them. πŸ’₯Westend Legends: Experience Meets Firepower Shane’s side will be relying on their experience, with in-form striker Shaun expected to play a pivotal role in this tie. His goal-scoring form will be crucial to Westend’s hopes of breaking down a well-organised Elite’s defence. Alongside Shaun, expect Garry and Shay himself to provide leadership and composure in what promises to be a tight, tactical battle. πŸ’₯Elite F.C: Can Zu and Yasir Bhatti Lead the Way? Elite F.C. enters this tie with a wealth of experience. Managed by Tahir Bhatti, a key figure in Over 35s football, Elite will be leaning on star players like Zu, Azeem and Yasir Bhatti to push them into the next round. Azeem’s form in front of goal will be vital, while Yasir Bhatti’s strong defence and Zu’s influence in midfield could dictate the flow of the game. With both teams featuring top-quality players and the stakes being high, this is set to be a real cracker.

The return of two key players, Wizard Harry and Babee, adds a crucial boost to the lineup. Both will be looking to make an impact after missing previous matches, and their experience will be vital in stopping Old Shields’ dangerous attack. πŸ’₯Old Shields, managed by star players Ali Sheesha and Usy Baig, have been in strong form this season, with standout performances from Ahmed and Suj. Despite a narrow 10-9 loss to Stoaters in their opening game, they have been on a terrific run of victories since. @Piash Khan you forgot to mention your appauling refereeing decisions too. I'm really annoyed tbh. I do not want you to ref any of our games again. You specifically said to me at the start of the game to wait for your whistle and showed me yer whistle. As sooon as Dream Team had a free kick with one of my players on the floor and my defender talking to you ( The Ref ) they go on and take a quick free kick n go on and score. Where was the whistle there? Its like different rules for different teams. Which I really cannot be arsed with anymore. I've been too nice not anymore. Sorry if I come across as a dick but that's how people want me to be then I will. If this refree is refreeing Old sheilds game again. We will not play that week. Points also shouldn't be deducted as this guy has no clue how to ref. Dodo's refreeing in this league man. Need to get a grip if yous want this to work. Get qualified refs in. I told you before I'll pay for my ref SFA qualified plenty out there.

@Piash Khan firstly its no a career bud. Secondly you the ref said we cant play until you have blew the whistle. Thats my point bro. Its okay for 1 sec then the other second its not. It needs to be consistent and on point. Not play till the whistle once and when a team mate and defender is chatting to you game gets played on. Thats silly refreeeing. If you didn't mention playing till your whistle then we would had no issues. This is where the issue is.

@Adil Naseem It was an epic game end to end. Both teams missed alot of chances. We hit the post about 3 4 times. Their keeper was unbelievable. I honestly thought the big yin kept them init big time. We were really sloppy at the start going 5 1 down. We came back strong into the game and finshed well at the end. A fair result from ourside. A win would of been epic but it is what it is. We move onto the next. Good luck to Southsiders for the rest of the season. Well played Old Sheilds ❀️ great comeback ❀️
