I want to express my gratitude for all of the members in this community who have come forward to inspire me that there is truly an interest, desire and might I say need for a platform such as this. Having ventured to Atlanta to participate in Juneteenth and attend Mayor Andre Dickens’ 50th birthday party…and after the subsequent podcast interview with my mentor Michael V. Roberts, I’ve decided to relocate the headquarters of the A.J. Smitherman Foundation to the ATL!! Many consider this city the new Black Wall Street! The whirlwind of activity around this move has rendered me less available to participate and propagate the roll out of Information here in the pace I had planned… but like they say if you wanna make God laugh, tell ‘em your plans!! However, I am confident that ultimately this relocation will serve my community even more effectively. So, I appreciate all of you who are participating and encourage you to continue to do so and know I plan to post much more in the coming weeks after I’m settled in Atlanta. I hope you all are looking forward to live and in person events because that’s definitely on the agenda. Have a great weekend!

Hi Everyone! While working at my design station this week, I noticed one of my hair accessories on Clotilda: The Return Home on Hulu. My design was shown through out most of film and this really made my week. I reached out to my customer and thanked her for choosing to wear it during filming.
