1. Have a release strategy - Consistency is king. If you want to build a loyal fanbase you need to find a way to always be in front of them, capturing their attention. 2. Treat your first 5,000 - 10,000 listeners as your friends. - Respond to their comments. Engage with them. Make them feel like they are early adopters of something big and yet to be discovered. To expand your fanbase you will need a strong foundation. If your foundation is shabby how do you expect your house to look like? 3. Understand that every social media is created for different purposes. - Tik Tok is best for getting new fans - Instagram is best for showcasing your brand - Youtube is best to build and nurture your relationship with fans etc. 4. You can be a leader of community, a role model or just share the same experiences and emotions to relate to your audience. 2. Create an image of your brand. The previous point states that you need to give people a reason to relate to your music. But to do so you need to understand what you and your brand stand for. Of course this means you'll need to decide what you like and what you don't and be open about it.
