Need ideas on distortion pedal
I have ds1w and proco rat 2, just looking for ideas on different pedals. Sound I'm looking for is more of a Zakk wylde. I do like the crunch channel on Marshall pushed by tube screamer. Was also wondering about the blues driver and boss super overdrive. (zakk uses) One can go broke just buying pedals. Inputs annnnndddd GO!

@Cliff Flurry so was listening to some YouTube reviews of used fx-55b’s. And two different people were stating it was “hissing”. They are right as they purchased broken pedals 🤷🏻♂️🤦♂️🤣

Hi everyone, thanks for let me be part of this community. My name is Sebastian, I been playing for a couple years now, anyway I didn't get into music theory. So I wanted to be better at guitar and start creating music with solid knowledge. Can you recommend me where should start ? It's a bit overwhelming because there are many scales. Thanks again :D

Reinvigorating Practice
Well, I didn't go to the local guitar store to inspire my practice, but that was a side effect. Who knew that playing with different guitars would do that. LOL I tried a couple PRS's. I still can't get comfortable with their necks. I also played a Schecter that I liked quite a bit.

Feeling stuck
Hey guys! I’m honestly feeling so discouraged rn. I’m trying so hard to get the whole Wanted solo down but I’m just having a hard time with my fingers slipping and it’s really annoying🙃 I practice pretty much everyday so idk why this is happening.

Is there a particular part of the solo that’s giving you the hard time or maybe with a higher notes ? How fast are you trying to go? That’s the place I usually shoot myself in the foot trying to go too fast too quick. Don’t be scared to take a break. If you’re anything like me frustration will just make it worse. Lastly, are your fingers dry. When I played guitars with a Maple fretboards as a kid, I found them to be difficult. Once my fingers started sweating I found them “sticky” for the lack of a better term. I soon went to Rosewood and Ebony and never looked back.
