1 contribution to Low-Carbon Hydrogen
We’ve summarized the latest Hydrogen News. Here’s what’s happening across the sector:
→ FuelCell Energy: Cutting costs by 15% in 2025; scaling power tech for AI-driven data centers. → Ecolectro: Raised $10.5M; producing hydrogen under $2.50/kg. → Longi: Solar sector recovery expected soon; scaling BC cell output to 50 GW. BC cells improve efficiency by reducing shading. → Fusion Fuel: Filed claims after a $33.5M deal failed; pivoting to fossil gas in the Middle East with a $21.8M acquisition. → Bloom Energy: AEP signed for 1 GW of fuel cells for data centers, with a future option to switch from natural gas to hydrogen. → HiiROC: Hydrogen deployed in UK cement production with Cemex; focusing on cost-efficient thermal plasma electrolysis. → Toshiba and Nimbus: Developing fuel cells for buses and trucks. → EH Group and NIM: Creating maritime hydrogen fuel cells for vessels. "Toshiba and Nimbus: Developing fuel cells for buses and trucks", interesting to see. From the edge of CV Fuel Cell don't see enough market for another player. Bosch/Nikola, Bosch/China OEM, Cellcentric/Daimler, Toyota/Fuso, Hyndai. As always question where the H2 will come from. Does seem to make more sense for fleets then it does for long haul...
