Mid-month Elevated Offer?
Jacob, I see the biz card I was hoping for didn't elevate as much as we thought. Do mid-month elevations happen? Was hoping to refer for 40k and have my P2 earn 120k. Advice accepted from all.

No SUB??
P2 referred me for a personal card today and I have a biz card with the same bank. They aren't willing to give me any SUB. Any thoughts on why? Waiting for a letter to "explain".

Hi everyone! Looking for the best card card w/high sign up bonuses to potentially use on a hotel in Charleston at the end of the year for a wedding for my daughter. Any ideas? I have BILT, Amex Plat & Gold. Used most of my points for a trip to the UK back in March.

I'd do a bit of searching in the area as well to see what kind of points are necessary per night at your preferred hotels. I think you can do that without points in the bank and it will give you a better idea of what you need in addition to what you want. Everyone is all Hyatt (and I totally agree). However both P2 and I both got Marriott Bonvoy cards with 5night SUBs. We are spending five at an AI in Mexico this fall and 5 nights in London in December. Both hotels/night fell under the 50k max at the time. I did add on a night to each and had to match those points but that wasn't a SUB problem.

Remember though free isn't free when it's over 50k and marriotts under 50k can be challenging.

I have 5 free nights to burn in London (used the first 5 in Mexico). Otherwise I'd stay with Hyatt! Two times only!

Help me pick how to get to Italy
Hi All, I need to start thinking of my planning for the next 9ish months before buying plane tickets and hotels Italy. Does anyone with recent experience have any idea which points tend to be better? Struggling with where to put my eggs. I feel so far off of the game. I find random awesome redemptions but it seems catch as catch can. Another random thing, I've also been finding in my searches, that repositioning often adds a LOT of money and time and doesn't totally make it worth while?? Thanks Terra
