Proud to have passed PMP exam on 1st attempt
First of all a BIG Thank YOU, Andrew Ramdayal and yes, after passing the exam two days ago I am celebrating over and over again with beers and cookies - also I wore blue t-shirt similar to yours in your videos and that proved to be a good strategy as well :)) Now leaving jokes aside here is my story in a few sentences. My PMP journey started in February 2024 when I attended Andrew's 35 hours course on Udemy. Initially I was thinking to write my exam by end of April, then I moved to May and because I used to keep getting around 60% at mock tests I planned for June 17th but did not set my exam date with Pearson VUE yet. When I used Andrew's cram course and scored 59% I decided to purchase PMI's Study Hall Essential about two weeks prior to exam date. Then because I noticed I was still consistently failing, I finally moved my exam date to July 3rd and this time I scheduled it for 8 a.m. too. During the time remaining I did all over again the practice exams and practice questions available with Study Hall, as I learned they are most similar to the ones in the actual exam - and now I can confirm it, too. At the beginning I was failing a lot but with repetition and daily persistence I used to reach around 80% a few days prior to my exam. By checking explanations to the answers I could finally understand how to apply the mindset and select most correct answers. By the way, I did watch the mindset videos a few times prior to exam day, because I felt I really needed to insist on those. Although my score was not AT overall but instead I scored AT/T/BT which granted me a Pass result. I really found the PMI's Study Hall extremely helpful due to the fact that questions are the most similar to the exam ones, and I think this was what helped me to strive in the end. But again, I wouldn't have made this journey without Andrew, therefore I am grateful for all the super quality work he put in helping PMP aspirants pass their exam!
