Any Idea?
Where can I find an informal community or group online for the PR niche like consultants or agencies? I have tried to find out on some social media platforms but I haven't found any.

Client Acquisition??
Do PR agencies actively look for new leads each month, or is client acquisition more periodic or based on project needs. Are they open to have exclusive and qualified leads into their pipeline, and willing to pay for that?

@Alex MacGregor Yes, you did, but my queston is: Are the PR agencies our there looking for leads on a monthly basis. Do they want their pipelines full just like other businesses. Are they willing to invest their money for that. And, MOST Importantly As a PR consultant would you be willing to invest if someone offered you an X number of qualified leads or booked appointments within a specific time?
State of Journalism and Media in 2024 (article)
If you want an in-depth look at the state of journalism and the media today, look no further than New York Magazine's excellent article, which came out a couple of days ago. It gathers insights from 57 (!) insiders, focusing on how legacy and new media companies adapt to survive. Here are some of the key takeaways: - Collapse of Traditional Revenue Models: Newspapers lost revenue to tech companies like Facebook and Google - New Business Strategies: Subscription models and niche content are becoming crucial for survival. - Role of Platforms: Tech platforms like Apple News and YouTube now serve as major distributors of journalism. - Uncertain Power Structures: The ability to influence public discourse has shifted from traditional media to figures like Elon Musk and platforms like TikTok. - Challenges in Local News: Local journalism is struggling big time, with hedge funds often buying and gutting papers. - AI and the Future: Media executives express both anxiety and cautious optimism about AI. Journalism and freedom of the press are cornerstones of democracy and are worth fighting for. What do you think? Alex, you are a PR professional your target customers are mainly startup founders, so what is your content strategy to target them, and as you are active on platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Instagram, etc. Which has worked best for you, and what would you suggest to others in the same profession?

Alex, what are your primary sources of Client Acquisition, does cold outreach works well to acquire clients for PR consultants and agencies?
Any Idea?
1) How many clients do PR agencies typically manage at one time? 2) How critical is lead generation for maintaining a steady flow of clients in your PR agency?
