Reed sorting
Reed sorting day. Do you all have such a day once in a while? Wich ones are good, wich ones can go and then I sort them in pitch, sound and flexibility. ( is it normal in other countries to play pitch 442 in wind orchestras and 440 or lower in symphonie and baroque?)

Yes the pitch thing us correct. There are some orchestras in the USA that play a 442 pitch. I keep the reeds on order of my preference but it can change with weather, my own embrasure, the mood of the reeds ect....
Low note jump
Tips on how to play this jump (F to low Bb)? It is 152 tempo.

When you go to the low B Flat tuck your chin towards your chest. This puts the reed on the upper lip. Give a little more air, and think up. You might even have the low B flat key down while you play the forked f.
