Awesome tutorial, Nikita! I followed along using Blender Octane. A few gotchas along the way, especially with geometry nodes. It crashed when I add geometry modifier. The workaround is to turn off the render while you are adding the Geo Nodes. Then, make sure the materials Geo Nodes is using are octane textures, not cycles. (For anyone curious!)

That is normal. It’s just the way it displays.

One thing I have seen, is that if you are having trouble joining faces, or weird issues like the borders between solids looking like there are too many lines - see if you have duplicated faces. Sometimes it just happens. Select the face, and delete it. If you don’t see a face, then hit undo and check other faces that are adjoining the “weirdness,” for lack of better term. Also, if you select the face, and you see weird triangly-looking things, that is a good sign of a duplicate face.

Welcome!
Hugo BOSS:
After watching a YouTube tut by Take Refuge 3D - Modeling in Plasticity was very easy - but rendering for some of these took hours -even in Keyshot.

The renders look fantastic! I did see this tutorial a few days ago. I think this would be fun to try in Blender Octane.
