Tamiya Rock Socker - First Run
I have received yesterday 2x servos for 4x wheels steering. Took me a while to figure out how to mix controls properly... All wheels steering works really cool and it looks stunning. Next - paint job and lights, loads of them. Will be like Christmas Tree. I usually order parts from China, so, takes weeks for them to arrive. Hopefully mid Jan it will hit the mud :)

Embracing Imperfection with Our Kids
Hobbies are personal. They're a part of who we are. We pour our heart into them, seeking perfection in every detail. But have you ever considered sharing your hobby with your kids? At first, I hesitated. Building cars involves detailed, precise work. Not something for a 6-year-old, I thought. But then, my little one asked, 'Daddy, can I paint your driver?' My initial 'No' quickly turned to reflection. Was I being too rigid? So, I decided to let her in. The joy in her eyes was priceless. Together, we prepared the paints and brushes. She took the lead, with me guiding. It was a wonderful experience. The painting wasn’t perfect, but it was special. It meant more to me than any of my solo projects. This driver, imperfectly painted by tiny hands, holds immense value. My daughter was proud, and I learned a valuable lesson to letting go of perfection and embracing shared experiences. Now, I can't wait to see her joy when we drive the crawler together. This journey taught us both. She learned to paint and I learned to share and enjoy the imperfections. Our little project became a bond, a shared adventure. It’s more than a new model now. It is going to be our shared treasure.

Nice work very talented!
Hello and Welcome to RC Cars Club (R3C)!
Hi everyone! I'm the founder of RC Cars Club (R3C), and this is our very first post. As I write this, it's just me here, but I'm excited to welcome new members who share a passion for RC cars. It might seem a bit quiet now, but every community has its beginning, and this is ours. A bit about me – I've spent years as a systems architect, building and automating business processes, setting up enterprise monitoring, and creating KPIs and dashboards. My professional life is all about structure and precision, which, as it turns out, aligns perfectly with my newfound hobby – RC cars. My journey into the world of RC cars started quite unexpectedly. About a year or so ago I discovered an old, broken RC car in my loft, a relic from a time when I wanted to have some fun with my kids. Back then, after it broke, it ended up forgotten in the attic. But recently, I decided to give it another shot. It wasn't easy – the model was discontinued, and parts were hard to come by. But after several attempts and a lot of DIY, I got it running again. That was the spark. Now, I have about 10 cars in my collection and am currently building my first 1:10 crawler, a CR-01 by Tamiya. But why start a community? Well, during my journey, I realized that sharing experiences, tips, and the sheer fun of building, racing, and fixing RC cars is half the joy. R3C is all about that – a place for enthusiasts to share their builds, their 'aha' and 'oops' moments, and everything in between. Whether you're a seasoned builder or just starting, there's a spot for you here. Outside of RC cars, I'm a father of four, so life is always bustling. We love our weekend family hikes, no matter the weather. Lately we have started taking our RC cars on a trail run - soooo much fun. It's this sense of adventure and joy I bring into the RC Cars Club. I look forward to growing this community with each of you. Let's build and fix, race and crawl, trail and explore together, sharing laughs at every rev and turn! Stay tuned for more stories, tips, and maybe a few surprises along the way.
