Vietnamese coffee☕
Vietnam is known for having super strong coffee. Here in Vietnam they primarily grow Robusta coffee as opposed to Arabica which is more common is all western countries. The Robusta coffee has almost double the caffeine of Arabica and has a darker, more bitter flavor. Many people will drink it with condensed milk for a sweeter flavor. (cà phê sữa) Other popular options: black coffee with no sugar (cà phê đen không dường) egg coffee (cà phê trứng) coconut coffee (cà phê cốt dừa) Salt coffee (cà phê muối) I was never a big coffee drinker before I moved to Vietnam, now I can't live without 2 cups a day. I wonder if I'm going overboard or if I have any more coffee fiends out there?!

I dislike western coffee. To me it tastes terrible. When I went to Vietnam I discovered Robusta. I am now drinking 1-2 big cups a day. Also invested in tools to make the egg coffee, caphe đua, dalgona coffee, caphe muối, etc and a phin filter….i guess I’m an addict. In a pinch, I’ll use Trung Nguyen G7 instant coffee.
Belle Maison Hôtel (Da Nang)
Stayed here mid week in July/24. Paid 1.1 million VND/nt. definitely recommend. We had a FULL Breakfast buffet with western and Asian foods and a small gym included. A roof top infinity pool and bar with ocean beach views. Super clean. 5/5. Great luxury hotel for a short term vacation stay

Great place and it was close to a restaurant on your map in Ko Fi. It had the best Mì Quảng and Rau muống xào tỏi (morning glory spinach with garlic) Nhà Bếp Xưa Restaurant https://maps.app.goo.gl/usgYNY7tx5ycqbGh8?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy

I can’t say for certain, but I don’t remember any rooms with a balcony. However, we didn’t spend much time in the room other than sleep, shower, and take a few mins to relax from the heat. Our “must haves” were cleanliness, included breakfast, a gym, and a roof top pool with a view. We couldn’t tell whether we were in Florida or California(with Vietnam prices). It was a 5 ⭐️ (without the balcony)

Travelled south half of Vietnam, next is the north. Fell in love with it. Plan is to retire 6-7 months in Vietnam and the rest back in Canada 🇨🇦
