INSIGHT | ADS BEST PRACTICE | FIVE ACTIONABLE TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGNS ON X
TIP #01 | STRATEGY When planning campaigns, look for opportunities to share your latest news and connect with the conversation of the moment - launch on X - whether youโre launching a new brand, product, app, message or promotion, X is proven to help brands meet launch KPIs - connect with what is happening - X is where brands can connect to theย events, occasions, and trends people talkย about most. TIP #02 | POST COPY I. KEEP IT CONCISE The best performing Posts are only 50-100 characters Make sure yourย post is: - simple, - gets straight to the point, and - focuses on one clear message. i.e. in @Ruggable's website traffic (formerly website clicks) campaign, they cap theirย post copy at 66 characters and drive people to their best seller collection to explore more. (see 1st image attached) II INCLUDE A STRONG CTA Be clear and straightforward with your desired action and explicitly say โfollow usโ, โclick to read moreโ, or โreply with your favorite [insert here]โ. This practice is especially important for follower and engagement campaigns, but is a best practice for all campaign objectives. i.e. in @Tiger_Balm_US followers campaign, they explicitly say โfollow usโ and give their audience three good reasons why.ย (see 2nd image attached) III CONVEY A SENCE OF URGENCY Give people a reason to take immediate action and visit your site, download your app, or follow you. Do you have a limited time offer or sale youโre promoting? Are you offering a discount to the first 20 people who reply to yourย Post or sign up for your newsletter? Think about what unique value youโre bringing to the table and narrow in on that. i.e. in @perfectbar reach campaign, they add urgency to their new seasonal product release with language like โdonโt miss outโ and โfor a limited timeโ. (see 3rd image attached) IV AVOID UNNECESSARY EXIT POINTS Whenever possible, keep your ad free of #hashtags and @mentions. We know that itโs tempting, but theyโre distracting, clickable opportunities that drive people off your ad and away from your content.
