Community Guidelines
We created this community from the heartfelt desire that it will connect and inspire all those who want to spark positive change through devotional music and song. We welcome harmonium and vocal enthusiasts from all over the world to join us, level up their skills and deepen their performances through the strength of our cooperation. For getting the most out of this community and for connecting in the most beneficial way, we need some basic principles of mutual respect and understanding. To keep this a pure and genuine learning space, here are some elementary guidelines for engaging with other members and on the community wall: 1. Harmonium & Vocal Evolution is home to all those who want to grow their harmonium playing and vocal skills, regardless of their spiritual backgrounds. So we want to ask you, whatever your spiritual background or beliefs, please focus on the core principle we all have, which is love. Where there is love, there is understanding and respect. Where there is understanding and respect, cooperation is possible and fruitful. So let’s inspire each other and help everyone grow, no matter what form of spirituality they practice or what kind of devotional music they use.  2. Please let the topics and conversations in this community be about music alone. You can post questions, blogs, photographs, videos, helpful information and music suggestions here. And you can contact us and other members personally as well. But we strongly emphasize not to use this community for promoting any specific form of meditation, yoga or spirituality or events connected to it, nor for quoting or promoting any guru or spiritual teacher in specific. Let’s keep our main goal clear, which is to advance and grow our music skills so each of our spiritual practices becomes stronger and of better quality.   3. Let’s stay positive here and treat each other the way we would like to be treated. What we have learned through our experiences as music teachers and producers, is that motivation achieves more than criticism. So let’s cheer each other on every step of the way. Of course feedback is important too, so you can let each other know where improvement is needed. But be mindful to do so in a respectful and encouraging manner.
