NICHE: I dont have one yet. Just immersing myself in the whole thing and finding my path. I'd like to be involved in Environment creation/compositing and Formula 1 . Maybe there's a Niche somewhere there creating race tracks and working with 3D cars? I think for me, it's all about practice, collaboration, more practice, making mistakes, reaching out, solving the issues and creating good demo reels. Help with the creating of Demo Reels would be good. I don't have an After Effects background so a tutorial on how to approach Demo Reel creation for beginners would be great.

File crushing and moving!
Hey all! This may be common to some on here but wanted to share, anyway. Instead of paying for Adobe Encoder to crush my mov files down I use https://handbrake.fr/ I find that it works just as well as, if not better than Encoder. When I do need to move a file to a client that is larger than 2GB (which https://wetransfer.com/ is great at) I use https://www.filemail.com/ to move up to 5GB. If I need to get ideas back and forth I use https://telegram.org/ because I can send text, photos and video all within the same thread. Just some helpers that would have helped me in the past! - big E
