I'm game. I love singing it! If I can grab the time. Life has changed drastically for our family recently.๐ The last one was fun, and the hardest part was figuring out the technology of hearing the track while recording good audio/video at the same time! ๐คญ
Okay things I need help with... the editor and I lost the names so if you could make sure your name is in the credits please add your name below! and other notes please add in the comments
Iโd love to do something relatively easy and classic. But weโd need to have practice tracks (and a performance track if there are instruments). Any ideas?
@Raydeen Belliard I actually posted a song a while back that I arranged a few years ago. It's "O Come O Come Emmanuel / Come Thou Long Expected Jesus" - an a cappella arrangement recorded by me, my husband, and my sister-in-law. I got the notes down on paper, but it's lacking a bass part. So far it's just an SAT arrangement. If anyone wants to take a look at it and add a bass part, I'm cool with working with them to do so! We do NOT have to use it for this group, but, it is not a copyrighted arrangement since it's mine, and the songs are public domain and we do already have a recording to practice with. If we want to pursue using the song, I could probably make basic keyboard recordings of the individual parts for practice if that is helpful.
Iโm curious if you could give me some feed back on the groupโฆ be honest you wonโt hurt my feelings 1. What the group means to you 2. Why are you still here? 3. Do you tell your friends about it?
1. Small church with no choir. No current opportunities to sing like I used to with my girls - married or off to college. I miss singing cool and even challenging things! 2. Because it's been fun! I may not interact more than a time or two each week, but I do enjoy reading things people share! And the virtual choir is something I'm excited to see grow. I've only participated in one other such and I never saw results from that one, so I don't know if my submission got included or not....๐ถ 3. I have told people! Some sound mildly interested but most not enough to get the info.
@Jake Beal hmmmm. Maybe because I'm not giving enough specific info? Or maybe I've not shared it with the right people. For some, it's not the right timing, I think - life responsibilities already have them occupied otherwise.
