REMINDER: LIVE Self-Publishing Office Hours Tomorrow
This isn't to flex or brag, but it is to get your attention. I've sold OVER 100,000 books and made hundreds of thousands of dollars in royalties EXCLUSIVELY as a self-published author. And I'm making myself available TO YOU for Q&A Office Hours tomorrow @11 AM EST https://www.skool.com/selfpublishing/calendar?eid=b328a2fc4e3e4e508c91105d7b091be5&eoid=1724166000

REMINDER: LIVE Self-Publishing Office Hours Tomorrow

If you are thinking about attending Chris' office hours tomorrow, just do it. It's a great opportunity to ask questions of an expert. I went last week and it was easily the best use of my time I spent all week.
What's next for this group? (RESPONSE REQUIRED)
Let's make a plan for this group. I want to make this group VALUABLE TO YOU. I'm willing to GO LIVE once a week to share self-publishing insights and answer ANY and ALL questions about self-publishing, KDP, book marketing, and more. Live calls would be recorded and available as replays. Join live and get an answer to your questions or post your questions in the group and get answers. You can also connect with others and get the help that you need to successfully write and publish your book! I don't know everything, but I know a lot. My biggest month on Amazon was over $70,000 in royalties I've processed over 120,000 books through KDP My books have hit Top 1,000 on ALL of Amazon I have books with over 1,000 reviews I've been using KDP since 2011 My books have been the #1, #2, #3, and #4 bestsellers in Entrepreneurship ALL AT THE SAME TIME Would a small monthly fee be worth it to you have have weekly access to a successful, self-publishing expert? It would also help cut down on spammers joining the group, posting spam, and DMing members with spam offers.

I would be fine with a monthly fee (and, depending on the cost, Emmanuel's lifetime membership suggestion is good) because I've been in a few of your challenges over the years and you bring a TON of value to everything you do. My biggest challenge is just finding the time to participate, but I think if I knew you were doing weekly live sessions and taking some questions, it would be more than worth it.
How to collect emails before your customers buy your book on Amazon
I'm looking for feedback. Can you help me test something? I'm working on something that I'm calling a Free Book Page. I made a couple sample pages. Can you try them and let me know what you think? 1 - Evergreen Affiliate Marketing by @Nate McCallister : https://freebook.page/eam 2 - Rise of the Reader by @Nick Hutchison : https://freebook.page/rotr These are just test sites right now; they don't have Kindle ebooks attached yet. What is the purpose of these sites? Well, most customers would prefer to buy books directly on Amazon. But as an author, I want to collect their contact information. So before sending them to Amazon, I want to offer them a digital item like the ebook, PDF, sample chapter, or bonus chapter in exchange for their email. Then, send them directly to Amazon to buy the book. Make sense? If you're already an author, would you be interested in a landing page like these? Setting these pages up isn't difficult, but it's a lot of steps for a new author. Thanks for the help and feedback! Chris Green Skool Admin

Of the two, I definitely prefer the "Rise of the Reader" page. The blurb and reviews on the "Evergreen" page are REALLY long and long blocks of text put people off when browsing. I suppose that could just be the luck of the draw with where it is pulling reviews from and one book got the longer reviews, but even if that is the case I still prefer "Rise." Both pages are clean, though. Nice work. Hope the feedback was helpful.

I'd love a copy of the book if you still have any available. Thanks, Chris!
Introduce yourself!
Let us know that you're here and how we can help. 1. Where are you from? 2. Are you publishing your first book? Or have you already published? 3. Are you struggling with anything? Where do you need help? 4. What's your favorite thing about self-publishing? I'll go first: 1. I'm living near Boston, MA but have also lived in Canada and Texas. 2. I first published in 2011 and have published over a dozen books since then. 3. I struggle with prioritizing all of the ideas that I have for books! HELP! 4. My favorite things about self-publishing are all of the marketing opportunities that you get once you've published a book. I love being able to get my book into people's hands in low-cost creative ways (sometimes free). Your turn!

1. Bay City, Michigan 2. I will publish my first KDP books this year, but I have worked in design and publishing for years and have published a number of books and magazines in the past. 3. My biggest struggle is just choosing which project to work on first. I have so many different ideas and things I want to try (a great problem to have) that it's tough to just choose one and run with it. 4. As a graphic artist, I love the freedom to create anything I can dream of and put it out there.
