How to provide gear resources
Is anyone looking to buy or sell camera gear? (I happen to be selling some which is what got this thought going). But with out creating way to many individual posts about small items… how do folks feel about offerings or asks in this group? And maybe @Lina Lyte Plioplyte you should weigh in- is that something your hoping to keep off the channel or is there a structure you have in mind for how that could be be beneficial for everyone?

Oscar Shortlist 👀
My dear friend Odessa Rae, is shortlisted for the Oscars for her latest documentary film Hollywoodgate. She won the Oscar last year for her film Navaly. I’m thinking about asking her to join the community once we hit 100 members. What do you think? Should I invite @Odessa Rae (Link to her Instagram) or nah?

Hey everyone! Excited to be a part of this group and to see where it all leads. I’m a cinematographer turned editor, turned producer… 😂 I love it all. I also run the Venice Doc Film club along with a few other west side friends, and have started seeing the potential of helping bring folks together to share resources, ideas, and general positivity about our working projects. Kudos to @Lina Lyte Plioplyte for getting this all up and running! What great work. My last major project was havanalibre.film

Traveling with film batteries
Advice: My film crew just got busted in LaGuardia airport for having a lot of 100 volt batteries - it turns out you can have only 2 big spare batteries per person. Luckily, we were a big party and were able to carry the batteries with us, but apparently FAA is getting stricter with the camera gear on flights. ✈️🎥‼️
