I love watching videos on how other people feed their pets—it’s fascinating to see the variety of approaches. Raw diets, in particular, are super intriguing and have been a hot topic in this group before. However, I recognize that fully raw diets aren’t feasible for everyone due to cost, time, or concerns about safely preparing raw meals. That’s why I find freeze-dried and air-dried kibble, like the ones mentioned in this TikTok, to be such interesting alternatives. They offer a less processed option compared to traditional kibble. I also think mixing raw with other foods is a great way to incorporate some of the benefits of raw without fully committing to it. That said, I do wonder how to ensure everything stays nutritionally balanced when combining different types of food. I’m also curious—what are some creative ways you guys found to incorporate more whole foods or variety into your pet’s diet? Have you noticed any changes in your pet’s health or behavior after making these changes? Personally, I always rehydrate my dog’s kibble and add a sprinkle of freeze-dried chicken or rabbit treats.
