In the past, I used to working out, playing sports, going to the gym and meeting up with friends for bootcamp session and intermittent fasting. Now, I have been working on my mental health for the past year and process is going well but slow. At the moment I am counting steps at work, my job is like a gym, physical and constantly on my feet all day and very tiring. My struggles is old injuries shoulder and back pain that's stopping me from doing extra extra work out or even other stuff and consuming junk and the midnight snacks so bad. Some days I am doing well and some days I am not. But I'm trying not to give up, and I will continue to keep going to reach my goal and especially getting off the medication I am currently on....😊

Hello I'm Sarah, I work as a Warehouse Operator for Primary Connect, single mum of one and from West Auckland. • I joined Romeo's Women's Weight Loss Academy wanting to learn weight loss and maintain it at my age now 38. In 2016, I lost 14kg and I was physical and energetic, staying active in participating in indoor netball etc...until 6 to 8 years later 2021, I fell in a deep depression, mental breakdown, severe anxiety and uncontrollable emotions due to being bullied by my family members and at work by my leadership. I gained so much weight and ended in having Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and so on. Early last year 2023, I found the courage to seek help and slowly I'm starting to feel myself a little bit but still have a lot to work on. Today trying to loose weight again is so hard especially at my age now and I knew I can't do it on my own so I thought joining this program and seeking guidance may help me reach my weight loss goal. • By the end of this program, I want to keep the weight off long term, stay Healthy, have that strong mind set and keep focusing on my wellbeing for my daughter. • My biggest motivation for success will be becoming the best version of myself (Positive, Humble, Happy) and hoping to find Love. • The biggest roadblock to my success will be no self discipline, my fear is leaving my daughter alone if anything happens to me. • I don't really do a lot of fun these days, because I'm always exhausted by the end of the day after work. My days off, I do the usual, house chores and rest before going back to work. Cheers.
