Etiquette is critical. Like other commenters mention, it's important to know when to break it. In this sense it's similar to art: You must first learn the rules, then you understand how and when to break them.

Consider an analogous situation. Instead of a woman, it's a sandwich. Out of two sandwiches, which one are you more likely to pick? A bitten sandwich or a whole sandwich? The woman is the same. She has something out of her that she cannot get back. If you are considering the bitten sandwich, then the next thing you should ask yourself is: "Why am I even considering picking a bitten sandwich?". You'll likely find it's probably because there are no better sandwiches to pick for you. If that's the case, then you should find ways to have more sandwiches to pick from. Abundance is the solution for _most_ problems we have as men.
