Intro to Programming
Just started the Intro to Programming course on Kaggle, and it's been incredibly helpful! It’s a great refresher and also a solid foundation for getting back into coding. I haven’t touched programming since taking a subject at university nearly 20 years ago—feels like a lifetime ago! 😊 Excited to see how much I can learn and apply.

Good tip. I agree, video tutorials can be super helpful as a supplement 😀

@Mohamed El Hamly Yes, and I also find the tutorial very beginner friendly, as in, it's kind of designed to make you feel less intimidated.
What are you learning right now? Let me know!
Hey everyone! As we’re heading towards the final month of 2024, I’ve been reflecting on what a whirlwind the past few months have been. Q3 and Q4 have been incredibly busy — between running Datalumina, managing client projects, seeing amazing growth in Data Freelancer, shipping the GenAI launchpad, moving into a new office, and onboarding the first customers for our new SaaS product, it’s been a ride. 🚀 On top of that, keeping up with the YouTube channel has been both a challenge and a joy. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite parts of what I do — helping you all learn, grow, and tackle data challenges with confidence. Seeing your feedback and progress keeps me motivated to keep creating. Now, I’m starting to map out my content plans for 2025, and I’d love to hear from YOU. What are you currently learning? What topics would you like me to cover next year? 🎥 Would you like to see more LLM-based tutorials? Deeper dives into machine learning workflows? Maybe even some freelancing tips for data professionals? Or something else entirely? Let me know in the comments — what are you most excited to learn in 2025? This is your chance to shape the direction of the content we create together. Thanks for being part of this community! 🙏🏻 — Dave

Hi Dave, you’re doing a great job with this community! I’ve just started, so I’ll need to go through the course and dive a bit deeper before I can provide valuable input for planning your 2025 content. However, I wanted to mention the buzz around AI agents being incorporated into Web3 protocols, like interacting with Twitter and even having philosophical conversations between independent AI agents! Examples like GOAT using Truth Terminal, and LUNA and Aixbt on Virtual Protocol are really exciting. Maybe we could explore these concepts together in 2025! That said, I have quite a bit to learn before I can offer meaningful contributions. Looking forward to the journey! 😀

Hi, I'm Ruwan, an Electrical Engineering graduate from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, taking my first steps into the world of Artificial Intelligence. While I'm completely new to AI and Python programming, I bring experience in function block programming and PLCs from my engineering background. My career began as a systems engineer, designing excitation systems for power generators in the Australian market. Currently, I lead a team of commercial managers at GE Vernova, negotiating service contracts for large gas turbines across the Asia Pacific region. Despite my technical background, I'm starting from the basics in AI, eager to build my knowledge from the ground up. Excited to be part of this community!
