Washing parts after sandblasting
I keep getting small defects on my parts. I don’t have a spot in my shop that I can hose them off, blow them off with air and throw them in the oven to completely dry. I’ve been thinking about making taking a new trash can to dunk the clean sandblasted parts in to make sure I get all the dust off. I have well water and I’m a little worried about that. Any suggestions good or bad?

Powder coating racks
I’m curious what everyone else has designed for racks? I’m currently in the middle of building another rack and looking for some inspiration or ideas. Here is what my current rack looks like. I have solid bars running across the top to slide hooks back n forth on. But I can only get two rows of stuff hanging on it. I’m thinking my new rack is going to be squared so I can go inside it to paint the backs of the parts, and have a lower level to be able to have four rows of parts….

Don’t look too close at my welds!!! My welder is acting up. I decided to do a hybrid of old and new. I really liked the idea of the bar so I can place things anywhere on the rack. The bottom tubes are removable for larger pieces. Going to powder coat these signs as soon as they cool off from degassing.
Dust collector / air filters in powder coating booth
I made my own paint booth prior to starting my powder coating. I’m getting tired of cleaning up the mess from all the powder all over my shop. Who has made their own paint booths and what are you using for dust collection system?

I also have a plasma table so the back wall is 16 ga metal with holes cut out on the plasma for the fans and the left wall is also 16 metal. It’s 8’ wide 8’ tall and 8’ deep

The top and right wall are from the existing room. Just plywood. I did drive an 8’ ground rod in the corner
