Hi members Thanks for being an early joiner of this community on the exciting platform of Skool. Originally I was setting this up as a community hub for everyone involved with club tennis. Parents, coaches, players and those working in the operations of the sport. However with some consultation it is clear as day that this community needs to focus specifically on the tennis coaches/teachers. Helping players become coaches and coaches become business savvy. So for those who play some tennis but have no aspirations to coach/teach the sport then this community may not hit the spot.

Welcome Our focus here is to help players become coaches and coaches become business savvy. At The Art of Tennis we are passionate about inspiring and developing tennis players. There is lots here for those new to teaching/coaching tennis but also for experienced coaches who enjoy growing as coaches and tennis business operators. Classroom (The Blog Series) What I have done is create a library of my blog posts segmented for tennis coaches and teachers, tennis players and parents and those who work in the tennis club industry. Classroom (Clips for 10 under players) 45 minutes of clips I have personally found online and find make an impact on the tennis coaching court. These are of various coaches showing technical tips, warm ups and drills. Classroom (Lesson clips to 🎼) These are clips 1 minute or shorter from lessons done at Scarborough Tennis Academy. The clips are focused on different parts of stages of the junior players tennis games. About me I went fulltime into tennis coaching at 20 years old and now have over 23 years of consistent coaching practice, club building and wisdom. At Scarborough Tennis Academy in Perth, Western Australia we have a team of 10 coaches who train players of all ages and stages. We have been fortunate to be recognised with multi club coaching awards and a record breaking number of junior summer premierships. I also have written a blog on all things tennis development for many years called The Art of Tennis. Off the court I have started, build and sold a boutique tennis academy and ran a corporate tennis event business for many years with Australian legends such as Paul Mcnamee, Matthew Ebden and John Peers special guests at our marquee event, The Taste of Wimbledon.
