Big sales concern
hey everyone is it possible for me to get sales experience outside of the west I've been struggling to work in EST time zone since my time is GMT+4 and I have school (I don't wanna mess up my sleep schedule) not to mention Instagram coaches could not work with me as a setter because of my location/time zone. made me feel like sales isn't for me should I move onto something else like writing

It depends, I would say absoultley - you should connect with people in the east via Linkedin and ask if you can get some experience with these people. Sales is a tough game and you sound young, I would recommend giving it your all to find something that better suits your schedule and that would be in Europe or on the East.

SALES TIPS - A THREAD
Tip #1 - A strong belief goes a long way. It is almost impossible to put into words the power our beliefs have on our reality. If you believe in your product, you can articulate it into words and add some persuasion - your Sales Results will sky rocket. Believe in your product and yourself šŸ™

Tip 2# - Successful Sales Individuals have the same traits. Explanation: Regardless of the field or industry any Sales Executives is in, their success depends on the CHARACTERISTICS of their own personality. If you have a I suck attitude, which looks like : " I don't put in effort or put in very minimum, I don't master the basics and im not willing to work hard till I succeed" You will fail, regardless of how good the product is that you are selling. On the other hand if you have the opposite personality to the one mentioned above, you will achieve much better results. This sounds very obvious and it's not ground breaking stuff. However let this tip serve as a reminder to you. It's worth while checking in, removing your ego and having an honest conversation with yourself to ask " is my attitude dedicated to achieving results or am I wasting my time?" It's very easy to get caught up in the negativity and to lose focus on achieving the desired result, when things are not going in your favor. However, asking yourself the question above can help to get you back on track - it's the bounce back from the negative outcomes that makes you successful and every successful Sales executive is very good at doing just that.

Tip #3 - How to come across as a figure of authority. Explanation: Having authority is great in any selling situation, as the person who has the authority - often has control. Being in control and being a figure of authority leads to customers listening to us more, credible and overall more influential when a customer is making a buying decision. Managers have control when they state "Im the manager" - The amount of attention drawn and the amount of listening customer will do when the Manager's make this statement is way above what the average employee gets at first. How do you do it? - Simple tricks like: - Initial introduction, shake hands and position your hand in an upwards coming down position, the person you are talking to will naturally go under coming up, so your hand is positioned on top - this sends a subtle message of control. - When sitting at a desk, take up plenty of space - with your legs wide open under the desk and lean over the desk - by doing this you are non verbally saying - this is my space and customers will listen to you more deeply. - When standing up right, stand legs apart, shoulders back and head up ( not arrogantly ) - the mind and body are closely connected, anxious thoughts express anxious body language, the same applies for confidence as well. Overall, there is more things I did not list - but using these subtle techniques can really make the difference to just how effective you will be at persuading customers and getting more sales.
