Deep-end ideas
Hey everyone! I recently took over a swim school that uses two lanes in a community pool. The shallow end is 4 feet (1.22 m) deep, and the deep end is 7 feet (2.13 m) deep. Most of my classes are for beginners, and I’m trying to find ways to make better use of the deep end. Unfortunately, platforms aren’t an option right now. Has anyone had experience with a similar setup, or do you have any ideas on how to utilize the deep end effectively for beginners? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

@Mitchell Brown all good! I want to increase the number of beginner lessons running simultaneously, expanding from 2 to 4 lessons at once. This helps maximize pool time, especially since older and more advanced kids are available later due to their school schedules.

@Nathan Stuart we do not but I’ll definitely have to think about starting something like that. Maybe $ off a lesson if someone mentions they were referred? Or if you refer a certain number of people you get a free lesson. I like it
