@Jason Smith It does seem to have this ability, yes. They have a feature for an "advanced prompt" that lays on top of the entire conversational flow, which is where I imagine this kind of conversational override prompting would exist. I did test this by asking a question that "didn't fit" based on where I was in the conversational flow, and I was given an accurate response. So basically you can craft specific prompts ("rules") inside each particular node, as well as what I assume is a "global prompt" of some sort that applies to the entire conversation. Still experimenting!
