Hi, Pedro and Everyone! I wasn't available for the live gathering today and just listened to it and am reading intros of others and getting excited about the Challenge!! Four years ago TODAY (YES, April 1st, 2020!) l joined Pedro's Zoom Yoga Class for the first time. Pedro's mom, Nancy, is my youngest sister (l am blessed to say!, which means yes, Pedro is my nephew!). It was through her that l learned he was offering classes in order to bring yoga to the world as COVID kept us all "sheltering in place"! What a gift! So l am still a beginner, now off my mat more than on it and once again, accepting the challenge to switch that around and be on more than off. I am a lifetime member of the Next Level Yoga Community via the app, so have daily access to amazing videos of both Pedro and Sumerleading a wide variety of classes from their home yoga room to other countries where they have lead retreats. It certainly is a worthwhile investment. I highly recommend investing in that app!! (No, Pedro did not pay me to write this!!). For example, I have done a 10 minute Morning Yoga Wakeup in Costa Rica, and a 15 minute Sun Salutations on the Amalfi Coast and a half hour Mindful Movement practice in the Sacred Valley in Peru...all thanks to access via the NLYC app! And now l get to meet all of my you, SKOOL! Maybe YOU will keep me more faithful to being on my mat, whether for 6 minutes or 60 minutes or somewhere in between.

@Carol King l wish l could remember, Carol!
Hello from Dubai!
Hello all! A bit late yo the show! My name is Karina. I was born in Puerto Rico, raised in the East Coast of the USA and shifted over to the United Arab Emirates back in 2020. I completed my 200hr TTC back in November of 2023. I actually dove into it with no prior yoga experience. My first lesson was my first yoga experience. I went into it with the intention to heal from childhood sexual trauma. I remember vividly during our first week of TTC, everyone sharing what prompted their journey. Many sharing that they wanted to broaden their yoga experience, some sharing they wanted the fitness aspect. Then there was me, with a massive lump in my throat and only able to muster, “I want to heal” before letting the flood of tears consume me. I felt like a broken piece of furniture desperately trying to put itself back together. Throughout my 200hrs, I learned more about my body than I ever thought possible. Not only was I becoming stronger but I was learning body cues that I blindly would ignore. My two favorite types of yoga is Hatha and Yin. Both bring me calmness and peace. A successful 30 days for me would look like, me showing up to my mat everyday. The consistency is my goal which in turn, I hope would help break away from fear of sharing this act of service. My IG is https://www.instagram.com/karina.sutra?igsh=OWN3NGsyN21xbmM3&utm_source=qr I look forward to sharing this space with you all.

What a beautiful sharing, Karina! Thank you for your honest sharing. May your healing journey continue, and may your sharing of yoga as an "act of service" (l love how you have expressed this) bring healing for others. Be bold! Perfect love casts out fear!
Mrs. Luna here 🙋🏼‍♀️😀

Love you, Summer! 🌞
Ohhhh snaaaaap. Look who’s here!
Kelly’s in the house! 🙌 I’m an Orlando based photographer, yogi, runner, mom, dog mom, all the things person who can be a perfectionist at times and loves a good spreadsheet. I’m a 200hr yoga teacher who doesn’t teach. 😜 But I use my superpowers for good! I specialize in yoga photogrpahy - mainly yoga studio branding photography and other wellness businesses/entrepreneurs …and photograph the occasional yoga retreat (ahem @Pedro Luna 🤪) I’m a distance runner and try my best to keep up with my yoga practice to keep things running smoothly (queue my tight hips and hamstrings 🫣) Excited to be here! 🥰
