So true
Moving out. Moving on. Moving up 🚀
Today I’m packing my apartment to move into a new home with my future wife. I’ve lived alone for the past 4 years which has benefited me in so many ways in regards to my personal growth. 💯 Solitude is undoubtedly the best place to discover oneself. Anyway, I didn’t think I had a lot of stuff. I keep it pretty minimal. But one thing I do have is a lot of memories. A lot of things I came across that I haven’t seen in years. Haven’t even thought of. A lot of cards from people I love. Pictures of great memories. And also a whole bunch of expired food in my pantry 😂 📈But this post is about being conscious of the journey I’ve been on. What a wild ride it’s been. And it’s FAR from over. When I see and touch these things I can remember exactly how I felt at that time, exactly where I was on my journey. ‼️And the truth is that I remember feeling like I would never overcome my addictions. I would never be able to leave the rat race. I would never find love again. Because when we’re going through the storm it’s so difficult to envision not being in it. BUT YOU HAVE TO! I promise you there is another version of yourself, another life waiting that you probably can’t even imagine. And it’s just on the other side of the struggle you’re going through. 💯It won’t be easy. It will take time. It will take extreme effort, consistency, resilience. BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT! This is my promise to you if you’re reading this and you’re going through a tough time. You are not alone. Many of us in this community have also been through similar struggles. For too long I kept all my sh*t clustered inside of me. When we do this, no one knows your struggle. And if no one knows what you’re going through, no one can help you. It’s liberating to openly share your struggles. It’s brings you peace. And not only that, YOUR STORY can be exactly what someone else needed to hear today to lift them up. It might even be the reason they choose to keep living. There was many days when I asked myself why do I continue to do this. Making content I feel like no one reads. Helping people for no money. Trying to convince people they’re capable of SO MUCH MORE.
