Long ago and far away in a certain town, there was a woman named Grace. She was a kind woman and never lost her faith in God, always reaching out to those who needed help. Grace was a poor woman and lived in a small house; however, her heart was able to carry love and warmed compassion. One winter, a heavy blizzard swept across the region, proving to be a disaster for many families that left behind electricity, and food. One of them was a single mother Sarah who was barely making ends meet with her two kids. However, Grace couldn’t overlook the condition of her neighbors. Grace saw what she believed was her duty and so she ventured to gather blankets, food, and warm clothes from her home and help if she could. Once she reached Sarah’s home, she saw the entire family had sat together in a dough to keep warm. Grace handed over the supplies begging them to go with her to stay until the strong wind passed. Sarah was ever so grateful but also resistant to the idea of taking aid. Slowly, but gracefully, she explained, “We all belong to God’s family we can wish ourselves so exploring in. The times proceeded, the two women grew fond of each other. Grace encouraged Sarah to tell her about her hardships and fears while she described her faith. They sat down and prayed seeking the strength to go through the storm and the hope to survive; amongst other prayers, they did so. Grace’s steadfast conviction made Sarah realize that even in her surroundings, there was hope. Sarah recovered from the storm, all bruised but ready to go look for a better opportunity. With Grace by her side, Sarah found herself working and was able to take care of her children and even bought a few toys for them, volunteered at a shelter inspired by Grace years down the line. One of the years, Sarah found herself in front of a group of people at the shelter and was sharing her story. She remembered the day and how a simple thing turned her life around, how Mr. Grace made it possible for her to have faith in herself. Grace was part of the audience and silently cheered for herself because she knew there were lots of ripples her actions had created. This story shows us the immense value and place of faith and charity in the Christian way of life. It also teaches us that even the most insignificant of contributions can bring about the most enormous of outcomes and that love and kindness are indeed powerful catalysts
