I am amazing. How are you?
Lessons from loaves and fish
Hey Everyone, I wasn't sure where to post this so I hope it resonates with whoever sees it. A few weeks ago, God led me to do a monthly series of Live local workshops to emphasize the importance of not just doing business but doing business in partnership with God. I was in the final preparation stages for the first workshop last weekend. I found every excuse NOT to do what God was telling me to do but, He finally led me to Matthew 14: 13-21(Read it for yourself, please) and here is what I saw and learned. In Matthew 14:13-21, this resonates with every entrepreneur’s journey . 1. Recognizing the Need: Jesus noticed the needs of the crowd. As an entrepreneur, your journey often begins with recognizing the needs of your audience. It might feel overwhelming at times, like trying to feed a multitude with limited resources. But this is where the unbelievable, the miracle happens. 2. Offering What You Have: The disciples brought what little they had to Jesus, most of us begin with what we consider to be limited resources—be it just an idea, time, money, or skill. It’s easy to feel inadequate, especially if we look at what someone else has done. This story teaches us that what you have is enough when offered with the right intention and faith. 3. The Power of Faith and Action: Jesus didn’t send the crowd away; instead, He told His disciples to take action, even though the resources seemed insufficient. In business there will be challenges but, the Word of God tells us in Hebrews 10: 35-37 “cast not away therefore your confidence”. In business, it’s important not to shy away from challenges due to what we consider limited resources. With faith, take that step forward, trusting God that your efforts will be multiplied. 4. The Miracle of Multiplication: Just as the loaves and fishes were multiplied, your resources—when used in alignment with God’s purpose—can multiply in ways you never imagined. This isn’t just about material resources; it’s also about ideas, connections (like Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur), and opportunities (like Kingdom Collaborations). With Jesus, what you offer can have an impact far beyond your expectations.
