Internal flights in Vietnam with a service dog/ dog
Hi everyone! We’re new here and arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in a week with our service dog. We’re looking to book a flight to Da Nang, but I haven’t been able to find a domestic airline that allows dogs. Does anyone have any experience with this? We would really appreciate any tips!

@Laura Fajardo hoyos Did you speak with Bamboo airways? They confirmed that they allow dogs upto 10kg and looks like there are flights from BKK to Ho Chi Minh City.

@Laura Fajardo hoyos I understand; we’re flying into Ho Chi Minh City and then connecting to Da Nang with Bamboo Airways. While this makes the trip longer and more expensive, our dog’s heart condition requires her to stay with us. I’m not sure how common dog theft is in Vietnam—sorry, I don’t have much information on that.

Hi, we are traveling to Vietnam at the end of this month with our 15-year-old dog, Lilo. Has anyone had experience bringing a dog into Vietnam? What should we expect at the airport? Also, is it worth renting a car and doing a road trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang? We’d really appreciate any tips.
