Who is having fun with the crowdstrike issue?
Banking, Transportation, Payment Systems, Telecommunications et all.... A bit off topic for AI but will make a great case study in Cybersecurity/Operational Infrastructure design. As you will be aware, a massive IT issue is affecting lots of companies. Crowdstrike pushed out an update to their Endpoint protection software, which has 'bricked' PCs and servers. From an operational viewpoint this is a massive issue. I have friends in multiple companies rebuilding lots of windows servers as they have been bricked. Bearing in mind that these are servers providing a service for online trading platforms, this is a big issue. Next, we hit supply chain. Once these servers are rebuilt and the errant Crowdstrike files are no longer there, the trading platform still won't work completely, as withdrawals are failing. I guess that the payment provider's system ran on Windows, too. I wonder what's next? Downdetector.com is pretty busy. Incidents like these make us consider what is good and bad in systems design and implementation. One simple update to a single file can wreak havoc and cost multiple companies untold sums of money. I am sure there will be a lot of document reading going on in legal departments worldwide to see if they can sue the company and also if their Cyber/Business insurance enables them to recover costs. Have you been affected? Mac and Linux users have escaped this time, but the same kind of issue could bring a similar issue to your doorstep one day.

Chatbot tutorial for websites
Does anyone know of a good chatbot tutorial on how to set up a chatbot on a website? I have a company that manages other companies and I need to figure out how to 1. Create a chatbot for their site 2. That does the following 3. - answer questions about the company 4. - answer questions about a sub company 5. - answer a question about another sub company If you have read this far. It's a management company that manages the HOA of multiple apartments. Can this be done?

Hi Samer. Good question, great usecase. As Kiu already mention RAG is the way to go for many different reasons. Do not know what are your programming skils, nevertheless you can use a low code implementation like Make or N8N, on these platforms you can fast test and deliver your chatbot and test with the most populas LLMs and Vector databases like Pinecone, Qdrant or Supabase.
Python Front End Library
Is anyone familiar with Mesop and if so what are your thoughts? It looks kind of cool but looks can be deceiving 😵‍💫

@Vinod Tharian Totally, AI is moving so fast it's hard to keep pace. Regarding your last point, make sure your framework is ready for whatever comes next, whether it's new models or techniques. One thing for sure, agents are here to stay, and new models are popping up all the time. The good news? CrewAI handles both like a champ."

Hi Fabrice, Nice challenge you have there. My suggestion is to use a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solution before fine-tuning a model. Here's why: Fine-tuning involves a lot of trial and error. Additionally, you'll need to train the model on Q&A tasks, which can be both costly and time-consuming. A RAG solution, on the other hand, can help you achieve your goal faster and more cost-effectively. While you'll still need to go through a testing phase, primarily focusing on the chunking process, it will be significantly less costly compared to full-scale fine-tuning. Using RAG, you can quickly prototype and validate your solution. Of course you can consider fine-tuning a model on your docs but it IMO would be the next step, and would be much more productive after you have gained the insights from using a RAG solution first. I'd love to collaborate on that project with you! Feel free to send me a DM so we can discuss it further.
Recommended courses
Hi everyone , I am currently a junior frontend developer and looking to upskill on the AI integration, would love to know what all of you are currently learning and what advice you have in terms of what tools to learn. Python is very easy to pick up but in terms of tools and frameworks, is there anything specific you would recommend learning? would django be needed? furthermore if anyone could recommend any free/paid courses on the topic, that would be much appreciated. thank you!

If you're serious about AI and you're a front-end developer, I recommend the following: 1. AI Basics: Learn the fundamentals of LLMs and prompt engineering. 2. Start Projects: Begin with local web apps using Streamlit, which is easy to learn, set up, and manage. As you progress, consider a more robust framework like Flask. 3. Advanced Integration: Learn LangChain and LangGraph for connecting LLMs with external data sources to create powerful applications. 4. Agentic Frameworks: Explore agentic frameworks like CrewAI. Brandon offers a great set of quality videos on this topic. I hope this answers your question.
