Copy My $5K+ AI WhatsApp Bot 💰
I did something pretty crazy in my last YouTube video. For a recent project that I worked on, I had to develop an AI WhatsApp bot. However, we needed to have complete control over the code and data, which meant we could not use any external services or platforms other than the WhatsApp API. So, I figured out how to build a WhatsApp bot with pure Python—nothing else! And I am giving it away completely for free, along with a video tutorial and all the code. (I have permission to share this, as I replaced the custom data part with a demo) You can easily sell this project for $5k+ to clients. Do you want to learn how to build and sell chatbots? Then check out the video below!

AI a buzzword?
Over the past few months, I have had various conversations with business people from different sectors such as transportation, healthcare, and government. My professional focus is on data science, but in my personal projects, I am creating AI applications. What struck me was the hesitation of many companies when it comes to AI. They often seem to view it as a 'buzzword', which both surprises and concerns me. AI, when correctly applied and well-informed about aspects such as privacy, can be an extremely effective tool to increase productivity and streamline work processes, especially when it is used internally with company data. An example of this is the use of ChatGPT in corporate environments, where companies can benefit from the technology without sharing sensitive data with external parties. At the same time, the fear of AI appears to mainly stem from misconceptions and a lack of proper information. It is crucial to emphasize that AI is not intended to replace human employees, but rather to enhance their capabilities by taking over repetitive and routine tasks. A first step in getting companies to collaborate more with AI is to bridge this knowledge and understanding gap. This can help businesses see the real benefits of AI and use it effectively. I am curious about your experiences. How do you perceive AI in the business world, and how do you deal with the challenges and opportunities this perception brings?

My Experiment Living as a "Digital Nomad"
Working in “paradise” seemed amazing, but was actually pretty stressful 😣 Last month, I traveled to Bali to work there remotely for 30 days. 🌴 This was an experiment with some simple rules: 1. Continue to live my life as usual, including all my business responsibilities, client projects, recording YouTube videos, coaching calls, and maintaining my health and fitness habits. 2. Swap the cold and wet Dutch weather for the tropical climate of Bali. Why? Well, this idea has always intrigued my girlfriend and me, so I wanted to give it a good shot to see whether it’s actually something for me. 🌏 Conclusion? It was one of the most stressful periods of my career. 🤯 I quickly realized that keeping up with my regular weekly responsibilities in this environment was too much, despite working 10 hours per day. This will be different for everyone, but the combination of a new environment, time zone differences, and working in cafés made things really challenging for me. It felt like tasks that would take me 1 hour at home took me 3 hours here, and days just flew by while my to-do list was getting longer and longer (i.e., stress). Would I do it again? This answer might surprise you, but yes. Obviously, I would do a lot of things differently. Here's what: 1. Stay in one villa for the entire duration. 2. Only share the villa with my girlfriend, not with other people. 3. Rent a desk and monitor setup for the villa to avoid co-working spaces. 4. Decline or outsource more client-related work during the period. 5. Give people a heads up and decline 90% of my meetings. I share more stories like this on my LinkedIn profile, so if you're interested in that as well, make sure to follow me there!

Great insights, Dave, it's cool that you're sharing them and hopefully, you still managed to enjoy the country a bit. I share your lessons, but I would like to add one more that was very important to me. Make sure that besides traveling and fun activities, you also really have some time for yourself to rest. After my trip in Malaysia, I noticed that I was often incredibly tired on Monday mornings because I did the fun things during the weekends which resulted in a lot of impressions and hiking. During the second part of the trip, I took more time for myself by just chilling somewhere without sightseeing or surfing, and it worked out!
