@Gavish Appalsawmy I appreciate it that you shared so much personal stuff that I guess every player has dealt with at least once during their path to become better. I for myself realized as well that a good mindset is the key to a good game, practice and even time with your teammates. I think it’s really frustrating, when one of us looses their fun and patience with volleyball and makes an attitude while playing a game. Vball for me is the best teamsport I know, I just enjoy when we make a circle after making a point or as well the little things, like putting the ball through the basketball basket unpurposely while playing a game. Volleyball is so fun to me !!!

@Bob Hehe Welcome back!
Tips for a better approach
Hey, I would like to improve my approach before hitting. Does anyone have tips that helped them to be more confident about the footwork while approaching to hit? My coach told me to do the 3steps like Am-ster-dam but unfortunately I am always jumping into the last two steps. I would appreciate some advice

A little bit about me :)
Hey everyone, my name is Nora, I’m from Germany and I’m turning 18 this summer. I’ve been playing 3 months of Volleyball at a highschool in the US during an exchange year and now been in my hometown Volleyballteam for about half a year now. How long have you been playing yet?

@Takumi Sato Hi, I‘m from BW as well! Playing at a highschool is definitely different to what I experienced in club volleyball here. I really enjoyed that we had practice every weekday right after school, cause that was a great activity and improvement for me. On the other hand, the teams a sorta new every season, due to the ability of every student being able to join and that sort of messes with growing and playing together as a team, since some are fresh beginners while the others try to may become professional athletes.
Introductions
Hey everyone, my name is Je'Vaughan. I'm 19 years old and currently attending college as a international student in Canada. I just started taking volleyball seriously and want to learn more about it. I also want to increase my vertical so i can spike for the first time by the end of this year and make some new friends along the way :)

Hello, where are you from being an international student in Canada? Have you played volleyball before or any other sport?
Setting: How to not bend or hurt fingertips?
Hey I am seeking advice from setters. Do you have tips to get the ball right above the forehead and touch it with the full hands instead of just the fingertips?

@Random Dude Do you have any videos or exercises that will help me to do this? I feel kinda lost in the topic of setting

@Random Dude well my issue is that my fingers are occasionally stiff in the position and when a strong ball comes towards me, I am not able to really pull out the strength of my wrist to get the ball up
