I cannot describe how amazing this video is at storytelling...Oh wait, that's what we do lol. Let me know what you think this creator did right and what you want to take away from this video.
I think the hook right off the bat is interesting. This goes in the purpose driven entertainment category. He starts off and introduces the new mob in the game and then a problem. The problem itself is one that no one really even cares about because most people never play adventure mode. The thing that keeps people’s attention is the pacing of the video. He’s not showing one continuous clip. He’s changing the scenes every 3-5 seconds of the entire video while stating the lows and highs. He tells possible solutions which won’t work and some quips thrown in. Then he finally ends the video with a satisfying high and a joke. He doesn’t try to be a comedian, rather he tells a visually appealing story that appeals to brain rot lol. I think the pacing of this video is something I learned I need to do going forward with my youtube shorts.
@Don Inkster It's interesting you say that. Minecraft videos itself get so many views that even a redstone creator can get millions of views for one basic thing like Fed X did.
I noticed a trend of unnecessary problems to be solved coming up. Just wanted to share how unnecessary problems can still very much be interesting depending on the problem-solving story you make. See if you can replicate something like this yourself with a different game.
Dang he goes into a lot of detail in this video. I never really thought about how audio effects HAVE to match visuals. Like if you're adding subtitles out of no where, just add a pop up sound without overdoing it. It definitely does add to the stimulation. Thanks for sharing man!
I personally love the arctis nova pro headphones. It’s essentially unlimited wireless headphones with the ability to connect to my phone, pc, and console all at the same time. I couldn’t ask for anything better. I’m also thinking about getting the earbuds that connect to console and my phone so I don’t get a headset dent lol
@Alan Graf yeah I want a better mic. I’m using a samsung mic I don’t like too much but gets the job done. I just use nvidia broadcast as a noise gate but it bugs a lot if I just bump into my mic or move it slightly so I have to close nvidia broadcast and rerun it to make it work again. Trust me, if you upgrade to the nova pro, the wireless and ability to connect to multiple devices is worth it. You’ll never have to be wired again and you’re very mobile with it.
