non-visual effects of light
Hello everyone, I would like to ask if any of you have come across a course on simulating the non-visual effects of light using Climate Studio and Grasshopper.

Hi Imene. As far as I know, neither ClimateStudio or Ladybug tools can simulate the non-visual effects of light. Instead, you should probably need to use ALFA from Solemma or LARK, another plugin for Grasshopper. Sorry, I haven't seen anything in regards to tutorials.

Hi Ertunc, the non-visual effects of light have to do with the simulation of circadian light and melanopic lux levels. Thank you @Imene Malek for the paper. Both ClimateStudio and ALFA software are from Solemma. In their webpage, they mentioned that the only software capable of calculating circadian light is ALFA, but I haven't used the new version of ClimateStudioV2 yet, so they may have merged both software. Here is a short video tutorial for ALFA: https://www.solemma.com/alfa/#ALFAvideo And here is LARK YouTube page with a few videos: https://www.youtube.com/@larkspectrallighting9742
