After seeing how impactful custom instructions are for me, I wanted to create some for some of my novel's characters. Here is the template I'm using in //Magical now. Does anyone have some thing similar they've used? I might go back and watch the custom instructions video to see if I can improve it...or maybe I'll ask LoBot for feedback! I'm crafting dialogue for [Character Name], a [Age]-year-old [Occupation] with a background in [Background/Location]. They carry the philosophy that [Core Belief or Philosophy], which is deeply rooted in [Reason for Belief]. Known for their [Distinct Voice Feature] way of speaking, they often express themselves through [Speech Patterns/Quirks], reflecting their [Key Personality Trait]. [Character Name] is driven by [Motivation], influenced by their [Significant Life Experience] and [Cultural/Social Background]. They stand firm in their belief that [Moral Standpoint], valuing [Values/Morals] above all. Their approach to conflicts and relationships is [Approach to Conflicts/Relationships], showing [Type of Interaction with Others] when interacting with others, especially during [Specific Type of Scenario]. In the scenario where [Character Faces a Specific Challenge/Interaction], how would [Character Name] express their stance, interact with [Other Character/Element], and navigate the situation, using their unique voice, quirks, and perspective? Please incorporate their catchphrases, typical reactions, and the emotional and philosophical underpinnings that guide their responses.

I was in a webinar recently and got my mind blown 🤯 at this Fathom notetaker tool. It is an AI meeting assistant records your session and delivers transcriptions and also summarizes your meeting on Zoom. And the summary notes are GOOD, like a realistic outline with headers and key takeaways. After the webinar the speaker delivered the link in a Notion template, the whole process was pretty seamless.
