Hey guys i'm struggling in AP chem with a 69% and i only have one kinetics test plus 1-2 labs to be graded to pull my grade up to an 88(cuz then if i get a 4 on the AP exam ill get 2% boost so i can get an A) and right now I'm doing everything i can to fix all my bad habits that got me to this point. One of these is college board conventions, I hate them and they cost me every test and they're pretty ridiculous. Not only this but the only way i can find out about all of them is through my teacher, because i couldn't find anything online where it had a type of problem, and the conventions you must follow. Can anybody give me some good resources for college board conventions please?

Hey guys, i'm in my sophomore year and here are my achievements so far. I'm still figuring out everything. Do you guys mind giving me some free feedback on how i can take my activities to the next level? I'd like to study EE/CS, with a focus on lucrative Space applications. My plan for the rest of high school is show a strength in the arts(and obviously do well in academics which i'm working hard at currently), and then showcase strong relevant activities with passion projects. I'd like for unique, impactful, relevant passion projects to be the bread and butter of my college app,(which i also thought was good for internships because it shows skills), and prestigious awards to go along with it(i'm planning on competing in USACO and photography). Do yall have any good suggestions?

hey guys i know i have a plan for ECs that are unique and could really make me stand out. however, 10th grade kinda hit me like a truck and im stuck here wondering, how did you guys(ESPECIALLY people like rishab jain) balance doing well in super time consuming classes like AP chem, as well as insanely prestigious stuff like ISEF and manage to do well with both? i need a workable plan bc rn my plan isn't working🙂.

i'm aiming for a top 10 school, and i'm doing a bunch of things to stand out like artistic hobbies with a lot of reach, high impact volunteering, and science fairs and olympiad's. specifically, i produce music for my brother and make promo content, which earned him over $9,000 and 1,300,000 mil streams last year. i also volunteer at my temple, which is super personal because of my dad's deep brahmin roots and i attract hundreds of new devotees a year. However, this doesn't amount to a whole lot in my competitive high school. kids here are literally taking AP physics and AP chem concurrently, and kids are taking calculus as freshman. internships, ISEF and that stuff is low key the standard if u wanna get into a top school. so what i wanted to know was, how much does me also being a varsity athlete really count towards any of this, given my current extracurriculars and the path i'm headed? i was also trying to take college classes at my local community college so i could skip cal BC, then take AP stats as a junior, then multi variable calculus as a senior cuz i heard you need strong math skills for AI which is what im interested in. these are all rumors of some stuff i should do to stand out, how much does being a varsity athlete with no out of school competitions(cuz i don't have the time) and having a quite strong math background really add to my college apps?(which by the way a handful of kids are already doing). sorry this was so damn long, was just a brain dump of all my questions
