[WANTED] Videographer
My real estate team is looking for a videographer! Preferably someone who lives in Northern Virginia. Someone to make “follow around” footage of a house flip we’re working on. Plenty of work to follow if the work is quality.

It’s okay to say no…
In a recent conversation with a longtime friend, I was reminded of an essential lesson in servant leadership—one that speaks directly to the heart of what we’re building here at BLN. My friend shared his struggle between his ministry work, which centers on building relationships, and the world of business, where he felt the pressure to focus on financial gain. As we talked about the possibility of him joining our community, it became clear that his approach didn’t align with our core values. Despite his claims of wanting deeper connections, his actions showed that he was more interested in opportunities that paid him rather than truly serving others. It was a tough realization, but it reinforced something crucial: For real growth, you must be willing to say “No,” even if it costs you a sale. In BLN, we’re committed to building a community of servant leaders who prioritize relationships and service over transactions. That means being crystal clear about who you want to attract into your world. It means asking the right questions to vet potential members, ensuring they align with our mission. And it means having the courage to say “No” when someone doesn’t fit—even if it’s uncomfortable. Remember, your perfect client isn’t just someone who can pay you; it’s someone who shares your vision and values. Stay true to your mission, and the right people will be drawn to you.

Love this! This is a lesson I’ve come to learn in real estate. Just because they have a need doesn’t mean I have to be their realtor. Part of being a servant leader is protecting your energy and saving it for those that reciprocate.
