Just wanted to give a shout out to @Serena Franklin for our call last week. She has opened up my eyes on how I can use equity in my BTL (without facing heavy early repayment charges) to purchase my new home.....and also made me think twice about selling my BTL too soon! I like the idea of overpaying, although I would not overpay as much on this deal as I need to make sure I keep some money aside for maintenance. I actually didn't think I could overpay on my interest only BTL mortgage. Thanks Eman!
